HISTORY OF RADIANCE INTERNATIONAL

 

In January, 2011 – Cindy Jacobs released a word to Jonathan & Sharon Ngai “to raise up an Apostolic Center in the heart of Los Angeles with 24/7 Worship and Prayer at its core”. LA is one of the most diverse and possibly the most influential city in the world. When God transforms this city – its effect will ripple around the world. After much prayer and waiting – the Lord confirmed that the “heart” of our city lies in Hollywood. No one city on the earth shapes the culture, the values, and the morals of a generation like Hollywood. In July, 2011 - in response to the prophetic word - Radiance International planted its ministry into the soil of the “Arts and Entertainment Capital of the World”. We launched in the original CBS Studios (the first studio in Hollywood) and began praying for a shift in the culture of the city from its roots. In January, 2013 we moved into our new location on the Sunset Strip. We are surrounded by some of the most iconic clubs like the Roxy and the Whisky a-go-go which is a known “Launching Pad” for many of the most recognized names in music. We believe this is a strategic place to altar the history of this city and to redeem the creativity that is released – not just through music – but into every sphere of society. There is a global anointing that has been used from this Strip to shape the culture and values of a generation and the Lord is going to use it in THIS GENERATION to bring the essence of His Kingdom into every corner of the earth.
